DSG-compliant: how NEXO protects your data
Since 1 September 2023, the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) has been in force. Here you can see what it requires and how NEXO implements it.
What the DSG requires – and how NEXO implements it
Transparency
The privacy policy describes which data we process and why, where it is stored and which service providers are involved.
Data security
Connections are encrypted (TLS), and so is stored data. You can sign in with a passkey, and access is restricted to your account.
Storage location
Your data is stored in data centres in the EU. According to the Federal Council, the EU provides an adequate level of data protection. AI features run with European providers.
No bank connection
NEXO does not need access to your e-banking. You upload account statements yourself; bank login details are never stored.
Reporting data breaches
If a data security breach is likely to result in a high risk, we report it to the EDÖB and inform affected persons where necessary.

Under Settings → Privacy, you receive a readable copy of your data.
