Understand subscriptions, Checkout, and Master access

Regular accounts see their plan, status, and where available Stripe Checkout or the customer portal; a Master account manages its product access server-side.

How to proceed

  1. 1In Subscription, review the current plan, status, next change, and any scheduled end. Actual access remains protected server-side even when this view cannot be loaded.
  2. 2For a paid plan, confirm the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy before starting a trial or Checkout. Price, currency, taxes, and payment method are shown before binding Stripe Checkout.
  3. 3A trial is shown only when the account is eligible. Manage a Stripe membership through Manage subscription in the linked customer portal, where payment method, invoices, and cancellation are available.
  4. 4Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. A Family workspace still requires active or trialing Family access.
  5. 5If secure billing release is not configured, purchase and subscription buttons remain disabled. NEXO does not store payment data in the app.
  6. 6When Master access is shown, there is deliberately no customer plan, Checkout, or customer billing control. That account manages product access server-side and opens the Master area instead.
  7. 7On mobile, the Master area shows a compact server-authorized summary of account, subscription, and audit metrics. It does not replace customer editing; plan, role, and access changes remain available in the full protected Master area.

Important

Master access is not a purchasable membership and is not a setting that Family members receive. It does not replace Stripe Checkout or create a shared payment method.
